We are thrilled to welcome you to ALX Pathway, a revolutionary approach for high school graduates looking to take their next step toward a future career. ALX Pathway gives you access to a full ecosystem of support to prepare you for your next step with one of our global partner universities.

It’s almost time to get started with your programme on 21 October 2024 and this site is here to help you get ready. Explore your new ALX community, Hub locations, and the iconic ALX Karibu welcome ceremony.

Get Ready to Get Started!

You are about to start your onboarding into ALX Pathway Foundations, but before you do, here are some important reminders:

  1. ALX Pathway Foundations is an 8-month programme which will prepare you for a successful application with one of our ALX Pathway Partner Universities, along with skill-building sessions that focus on subjects like algebra, statistics, business finance, and entrepreneurship.
  2. The majority of your programme is accessible virtually, however you will be required to attend activities in your local ALX Tech Hub once a week (minimum 3 times per month).
  3. The ALX Tech Hubs are more than access to a stable internet connection and are available for you to attend as much as you like. Plug into your community, get to know your peers, attend workshops, mentorship events and much more.
  4. As you progress through ALX Pathway Foundations, you will receive information about gaining access to  available university partners, as well as scholarship and funding opportunities.
  5. ALX Pathway has a $40 access fee. Your first payment of $5 USD will be required to get started and progress in your programme. The remaining $35 can be paid in installments, or in full prior to completing your Pathway Foundations Programme.

ALX Pathway prepares you for a successful application and transition to one of our leading global University Partners. We offer participants a unique opportunity to gain a life changing place at some of the world’s top Universities in the US, Europe and Africa. You will have the opportunity to apply for degree programmes to best suit your situation, such as virtual degree programmes to gain crucial tech skills, as well as in-person places with full scholarship opportunities. ALX will continue to expand it’s University Partner Network over the coming months, so that when it’s time for you to start your application as you progress through Pathway Foundations, you will be spoilt for choice. I believe that those of us who are privileged enough to be educated, healthy, and part of powerful networks should not be doing easy things. The only way to justify our privilege is to do the hard things that society demands of us — to solve tough problems and create opportunities for others. I launched The Room to bring the most ambitious ‘doers’ together to do these hard things that will change the world.
