We are thrilled to welcome you to ALX Pathway, a revolutionary approach for high school graduates looking to take their next step toward a future career. The Pathway programme helps learners build essential skills like impactful communication, entrepreneurial thinking, and quantitative reasoning. On top of that, it offers college counseling and connects participants with funding and scholarship opportunities.

It’s almost time to get started with your programme on 21 October 2024 and this site is here to help you get ready.

Get Ready to Get Started!

You are about to start your onboarding into ALX Pathway Foundations, but before you do, here are some important reminders:

  1. ALX Pathway Foundations is an 8-month programme which will prepare you for a successful application with one of our ALX Pathway Partner Universities, along with skill-building sessions that focus on subjects like algebra, statistics, business finance, and entrepreneurship.
  2. The majority of your programme is accessible virtually, however you will be required to attend activities in your local ALX Tech Hub once a week.
  3. The ALX Tech Hubs are more than access to a stable internet connection and are available for you to attend as much as you like. Plug into your community, get to know your peers, attend workshops, mentorship events and much more.
  4. As you progress through ALX Pathway Foundations, you will receive information about gaining access to  available university partners, as well as scholarship and funding opportunities.
  5. ALX Pathway has a $40 access fee. Your first payment of $5 USD will be required to get started and progress in your programme. Monthly $5 USD payments will be required to stay in good standing and are due on the last day of each month, beginning with the 30th of November.

Our Founder

I believe that those of us who are privileged enough to be educated, healthy, and part of powerful networks should not be doing easy things. The only way to justify our privilege is to do the hard things that society demands of us — to solve tough problems and create opportunities for others. I launched The Room to bring the most ambitious ‘doers’ together to do these hard things that will change the world. I welcome you to be a part of our story and join this global community as we make history together.
